Every Christmas, one of the most popular and meaningful messages in the Christmas cards I receive is this: peace and joy. The language of the holidays is especially hopeful, so I imagined up a surprisingly quick, affordable Christmas craft that celebrates these happy and merry messages.

My everlasting boxwood holiday signs required 3 inexpensive supplies:
To start, I decided to create signs in a cursive style. Looking at various fonts online, I decided to recreate the look of the popular Learning Curve font for my wired message signs. My first wired message: 'peace'.
Next, it was time to add the faux boxwood. This step was especially easy because the boxwood garland is wired! I simply wrapped the garland around each letter in one continuous piece and snipped it at the end.
I repeated the same steps for 3 more holiday boxwood messages, so I had 4 total: 'merry,' 'happy,' 'peace' and 'joy'.
The final step: attaching ribbon to the wire backing of the signs. I opted for gold ribbon but almost any choice would look great with the natural look of these holiday messages.
All told, these 4 wire signs took me about 30 minutes to complete from start to finish...how great is that? They were easy and, best of all, they'll last forever!

Peace, joy, happiness and merriment...what's more important than that?
What do you think? Would you try making your own to add to your holiday decor?
Happy Friday, friends!
