More Cheap Artwork: Cavallini Wrapping Paper

Who doesn't love a cheap piece of artwork that only looks expensive?
I do, I do!

Over the weekend, in addition to the weirdo poisonous mushroom book, I stopped into Paper Source and found a piece of Cavallini wrapping paper with a French A-B-C design. A lightbulb went off in my head amid the Paper Source sea of colored envelopes and paper: wouldn't this be the cutest piece of art for a [future] baby's room?

The $1 clearance price tag certainly didn't hurt either.

At their regular price of $4, Cavallini wrapping paper is an affordable source of vintage-looking artwork:

Here's just a sampling of some of the 20" x 28"paper I'd highlight in a frame:

Are you keeping track--how many projects do I have in my framing queue? My 'to-do' list is growing every minute.

  1. Love their stuff!! Their calendars are fun to frame too, but much pricier than the wrapping paper! How fun!

  2. Fran, I completely agree. Truth be told, I had to hold myself back from buying more of the Cavallini items at Paper Source!

  3. I love the "Baby" print. I wish I had it when doing art work for the walls of the Children's Play Area at The Eli. It is just what I was looking for.
