Gone Country

This room and the whole house tour, which appear in the latest issue of Country Living have me questioning my stance that the magazine is only ho-hum. Lately, I've been thoroughly impressed with their editorial content.

I mean, what's not to like?

We've got a collection of silhouettes, a beautiful architectural detail like a transom, a graphic rug...I could go on. Turns out, the magazine's title is a bit of a misnomer. It's style resonates with city-living gals like me--go figure. I'm even contemplating a subscription. Talk about commitment!

What's your take on Country Living? Are you a convert?

  1. The silhouettes don't do it for me, but I'm diggin on the rest.

If it is under $30 I'd go for it! Much cheaper than buying per issue.

  2. Yes, I've noticed they've stepped it up a bit in recent years. I would def. get the subscription - surely lot of inspiration here!

  5. I am a fan of many styles. I need multiple homes and a lot of money to have it all, but don't we all.

  6. Funny, I just got a subscription for $5 through amazon about 2 months ago, for the same reasons you have stated. They really have evolved! And for that price, I couldn't pass it up.
