A Connecticut Yankee in Ben Franklin's court, I'm a gal named Ashley who was born and raised in the Nutmeg State, moved to Philadelphia for graduate school, and now call this city home. In January 2013 my husband and I purchased our "forever" home on the Main Line, just outside of Philadelphia. Before that, we resided in a historic neighborhood known as Society Hill where we rented an apartment lovingly and patiently decorated with secondhand finds and items I made myself.
