My Math is a Little Weak

Mathematical minds out there, tell me:
Does this
plus this
 equal this?
 I think I've mentioned this before, but I'll mention it again: I am cheap. 
But before I proceed, check my math and tell me if it all adds up.

    what is the quality of the ikea piece? I'm all for cheap, just make sure you like the texture, color, etc..

    I am happy with the ikea ritva. They might be a tad thinner than the ones you are looking at, but are substantial to me. I say go for it.

    I think you got yourself a winner! I'm not a huge Ikea fan, but I've seen some pretty cool projects come from the lands of Ikea and DIY-ers. If you've got the touch, work it! Maybe check out Target for better quality curtains.
